Pricing, policies, and booking procedures. Updated 8/3/16.

 

Please read before booking a session with JKL Photography!

Availability: I am available to book sessions for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday/Sunday's. Sessions during the week should start no later than 4:30pm. I am located in Fayetteville. If if is a travel session (anywhere outside of Fayetteville/Springdale), the session will need to be booked for the weekend. Summertime is usually a bit more flexible during the week due to later sunset times.

Pricing: Sessions start out at $75 for one hour or $45 for 30 minute mini session. Be sure to book the correct time frame for your sessions! If it's involved and you have lots of ideas and shots planned, book an hour or more to be safe. Keep in mind that positioning, wardrobe changes, and any amount of distance between photo locations will all be part of your time with me! (Initial travel to session does not go against your time. Time starts when I start taking photos.) This applies to family, individual, senior, engagement, maternity, etc sessions. 

If you're looking for a quick session and a couple of poses with no wardrobe changes, I recommend the mini session.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required when booking a session. This can be paid in person, mailed in, or paid via paypal. Deposit must be paid in order to ensure your booking. If JKL Photography cancels, your deposit will be refunded. 

​

Payment: Payment is due in full either at or before the session time. I accept PayPal, cash, money orders, & personal check. Personal checks and money orders must clear before final photos are delivered.

​

Travel: I travel within Madison, Washington, and Benton Counties at no extra charge. Any sessions booked outside of these counties will include an extra travel charge. Travel charges are 50¢ per mile round trip.

Edits: I edit most photos from every session (except for blurry photos or outtakes not done on purpose.) 1 hour sessions create more final pictures than mini sessions. 1 hour sessions will include 15-20 photos. There is always a week turnaround time on final photos unless specified beforehand. More digital files can be purchased for $20 per 10 photos.

Digital file delivery: All final, full size digital photos will be uploaded to a cloud drive with a privacy lock. You will receive a link to your photos. I also provide a copy of all files on a USB flash drive or a CD at no extra charge. Print release is also provided with sessions.

Prints: Unless it is included in a photo special, I do not provide prints with sessions. You are given a print release to print and publish the files as you wish. If you want prints from me, that will be a separate charge and the customer will need to discuss print pricing with me individually. I have no set prices for prints.

Customer questionnaire: All new customers will need to fill out a questionnaire before their session. This helps me establish a good idea of what is desired for the final photos.

Newborn sessions: These will always be booked for one hour at the least.

​

Weddings/Small events:  Events include a $50 charge plus hourly rate. Prices vary due to size of events, number of participants, and amount of time needed. I will bring an assistant with me for weddings, birthday parties, etc. I do not shoot family reunion events.

Quality assurance: Always contact me with questions or concerns about your session. I don't want any unhappy customers!

Contracts: All contracts and releases must be filled out and signed before photos are released to the customer. Contracts are also your proof of payment.

Cancellations: Stuff happens and it effects you and me. I understand. If you need to cancel your session, please let me know in as much time as possible. I realize that sometimes you won't have much time to alert me for a cancellation. That's okay. We will work it out.

Sometimes (rarely) I have to cancel. I will let you know as soon as possible if I need to do so. Reasons for me canceling are: extenuating circumstances and weather conditions.
